2 Weeks after conscription.

I am finally back home.

It felt a little bit scary at first, not knowing what they’re gonna do to you, or what they’re gonna make you do next. But after a few days, things started to get a little predictable. I must say I counted down from day 1 to day 14, felt like a long, long way left to go on day 1 but, on day 14, I began to question myself, how the hell did I went through 14 days of confinement.

Bad news is well, obvious, I still have to go back to that damned island. Good news is a plenty if you don’t expect too much; I get to book out every week and the best part is, I only have 4 weeks left to go AND I pass out on the 7th of December. That’s one EASY month left!

For me, an obsess-or of freedom, my army life is acceptable for me, don’t know about yours, but I can accept mine!

C9L3. They don’t let you do most things even if you wanted to. I’m always commenting that it feels like a day care center/nursing home. They’re not even allowed to pump us. I wouldn’t mine a few coming my way, seriously. At the rate I’m going, I’m gonna put on weight. Eating with little or no exercise, I don’t like this routine, I feel uncomfortable feeling the bulge getting bigger. Personal night exercises have begun, I shall not fall into the conscript-and-gain-10-kg cycle. NO WAY.

My new peers are my type of people I wanna mix with. Of course I have geeks, princes and SIBEI ONs in my platoon and I’m irritated by some.

All in all, I still hate the army, its disrupting my life.

A survey was done and one of the questions went like this while the choices of answers went from strongly disagree to strongly agree.

“I am UNMOTIVATED to serve.”

For the above question, answered STRONGLY AGREE. =D

Here’s a new Avatar movie trailer. A FEAST FOR YOUR EYES. So hyped about this. Releases 17th December. DURING MY BLOCK LEAVE! WHOOOOYEAH!

Its an ass kicking trailer seriously..

Alright, I’m off to see ♥regina dearest.

BYE.

Conscription.

Here comes the time when everything comes to a halt in a Singaporean man’s life.

Its my turn now.

Most importantly, I miss you ♥r!

I’ll be back, someday.

Movie Geek #9: Raimi speaks, Daybreakers.

When questioned about which villain we might see in the 4th installment of Spider-Man, Sam Raimi confessed that he wasn’t allowed to say at this point.

But when the guys at splash page showed him the poll results of “Who should be the Spider-Man 4 villain?”. Raimi was in consensus with the poll’s winning selection; The Lizard. He also says that Dr. Connors/The Lizard has a great story in the Marvel comic books. Carnage was also one of the poll’s top choices, but Raimi says that he is less familiar with Carnage.

Raimi also commented that he and the team are choosing the villain based on how the villain is going to blend into Peter Parker’s story.

With 2012 coming to theaters this November, a certain name most definitely pops into mind, Roland Emmerich. Director of THE movie that I personally feel withheld nothing but threw everything in smashing earth, Independence Day.

Yes, Roland Emmerich is planning on a sequel to his 1996 epic blockbuster. But he will not do it without Will Smith, says Emmerich, Will Smith is a gross player and the only actor that he feels is worth is gross. He also comments that Will Smith is a superstar of his own now and that his presence in an action-sci-fi will most definitely fill up the seats.

Its your usual plague-transform-humans-into-vampires movie with a slight deviation to the usual solo vampire hunter who goes around blowing vampire heads off.

Its the year 2019, earth is scourged by a plague which transformed almost all of the humans into vampires. And mind you these vampires are the ones that fear sunlight and have no intentions of going Cullen. Blood supply is diminishing, a group of rebel vampires and a researcher work on a way to save the human kind as well as a way to return back to human form.

The release date of this movie in Singapore is not known yet, but it premieres on January 8th, 2010 in the US.

#8: 2012, Spiderman 4.

2012 exclusive footage.

Disaster porn movies. There is seriously no way else to describe it. You’d probably expect a shitty plot, but the visual effects are just incredibly well done. Set to be released on 12th November.

Transformers 3 is set for July 1st, 2011. Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will be back for the franchise.

Also in Marvel’s highest green rolling franchise, Spiderman, has announced the opening date of their fourth Spidey flick, May 6th 2011. Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst have been confirmed for the return, as for the rest of the cast, Raimi and co are starting to think about them.

This means in the summer of 2011 there will be a number of high profiled franchises.

Spiderman 4, Thor, Captain America, possible POTC: On Stranger Tides, Green Lantern bla bla bla. Kung Fu Panda sequel too.

Can’t wait for 2011’s Summer movie season.

Its come down to just 10 more days to the start of  my 2 year pilgrimage.

Hopefully everything will start on the October 22nd, 2009 and ends on October 22nd 2011. Yeah I might miss 2011 Summer movie season depending on my vocation. I wish for an 8-5 desk work vocation.

Everyone’s started their national service, well mostly, its almost my time to do so too. Probably one of the last few amongst my poly and secondary school peers.

Bought my “National Service” phone the other day. Kinda hate it, shall just blindly use it for the next two years, though there is quite a high possibility I’d switch it for something else. How I wish my V9 didn’t come with a camera.

Started gathering essentials to make my life in there as comfortable as possible. I still have a number of things left to get, and possibly missed out some stuffs, so if you got something in mind do tell. Thanks.
